Golden West District #26 AHEPA Family Scholarships 2026 Application Form

The Application Deadline is December 15, every Year
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for any of these scholarships the applicant must be:

  • Resident of British Columbia & of Greek descent (one parent minimum)

  • Presently enrolled or accepted as a full-time student (minimum 24 credits) at an accredited university, college, or trade school, and will continue in school in the coming year

  • High School Applicants MUST HAVE an early acceptance letter from a post secondary institution

  • Someone who did not receive an AHEPA scholarship in the previous year (applicants can re-apply every other year)

  • Bonus points awarded to an applicant if a parent is a member of AHEPA or the Daughters of Penelope.

The Scholarship Committee will be comprised of members of AHEPA and Daughters of Penelope.

The committee will review the applications and determine who will receive each scholarship, with the understanding that some of the above scholarships have additional specific criteria.

***No family member of an applicant will be part of the review and selection process***

General Selection Criteria

This scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who demonstrates excellence and evidence in the following areas:

  • Academic Achievement
  • Scholastic extra curricular Activities
  • Hellenic community involvement
  • General Community Involvement (non Greek)
Application to Include:
  • 2 Reference Letters (dated application year)
  • Academic Transcripts From Most Recent Semester
  • Completed Application Form
  • Cover Letter (must include full home address and phone number)
  • Proof of Enrollment at Post-Secondary
  • Statement of Future Plans (1-2 paragraphs)

*** It is important to note that those who are selected as Scholarship winners, must submit their Social Insurance Numbers for AHEPA Foundation Financial reporting purposes to the CRA***
